A Day at the Zoo

Today we went to the Zoo in Antwerp (Brussels doesn't have it's own zoo).  Antwerp is about 30 miles or so from Brussels.   

It's pretty old.  Some of the animals were in cages.  You can tell they've been doing lots of improvements and moving towards a more open space type environment.

 

It is in the middle of the city.....look at the view the people who live across the street from the Giraffe exhibit have! 

 

 

 

The weather was wonderful.  76 and sunny!     Can't beat it for October!
