Little Gym Performance

Audrey is in a Little Gym class, and they had their performance and award ceremony this week.

Someone was extremely proud of her medal.  She wore it for two straight days!

Here are some videos from her class:

Gymnastics Show

Last Monday Grace had her 'show' at Little Gym.  The show was introduced by Grace's favorite teacher, Margali in both French and English.  There are at least 3 English speakers in the class, so they try to repeat back in English as much as possible to help.

I cut this video off thinking Grace wouldn't be taking her turn for a little while...  and what do you know, she came busting out and dove over the cylinder mat, catching Margali off guard, and face planted.   Not a great way to start her show!!

But after awhile, she demonstrated all of the sections.

Not sure what to call this section...

Gymnastics

Grace started Little Gym last week. She did really well.  I was so happy that she went in the class all by herself and didn't hesitate too much.  One new little boy cried the whole time and didn't participate, and one other little boy that is not new, cried and was just disagreeable and didn't participate.  You'll see him in these videos.  He's the red head.  He didn't really participate and follow the teachers this week either.

The teachers are french speaking, but there are a few other English speaking children in the class, so they repeat things back in English.  And because it's Grace's first time, they help her a little more.  I think this is the 2nd or 3rd session for most of the kids.  I also think Grace is one of the younger ones in the class, based on the little bit of conversation I've had with some of the other parents.
