Tulip Time!

It is that time of year.  Spring has sprung (finally) and the tulips are in bloom.  Mary Kay came to visit to see the tulips, this time.... so we treated her to two days of tulips.  First, locally in Belgium at Chateau de Grand-Bigard.  Every year, they open the grounds for a flower show for one month.  It is really beautiful.  We went last year, and decided it is THE place to go and see the tulips.  Easy, close to home, beautiful, and not overrun with tourists.

We also went to Keukenhoff, which is world famous for their gardens.  And full of tourists! 

It is definitely beautiful in this part of the world in the spring when the sun is shining!
