Arts & Crafts
Here are some of the things Grace and I have been doing lately.....
Hand Print Christmas Tree (almost as good as Parker's)
And sparkly pine cones. This is a multi-day activity. First we had to collect them. Then decorate. And then we're going to make a wreath. Stay tuned for the finished product!!

Snow Day Arts & Crafts
Mommy had back-to-back conference calls all day today, so Daddy took the day off. Day 2 of the Blizzard of 2011 is causing a little bit of stir craziness, all around, but I was really surprised when a strange sort of quietness settled over the house.....

The play doh was officially broken out!

Pantaloons
I was so inspired by Natalie's gorgeous UGA game day outfit made by her very crafty Martha Stewart wanna-be Mama, Melissa.... I decided to try to make my own FSU outfit for Grace. I found this very cute McCalls pattern for a wrap around dress/top with cute pantaloons.

I don't know where we (my Mom and I) went wrong, but the inseam is completely wrong. They are LOW RIDERS. Her diaper completely hangs out. And I don't think it is salvageable at all.

Mom, can you get me a yard more of the FSU fabric so I can just try plain 'ole bloomers?
*Sigh*
There is still hope for the dress. But Martha junior will probably have to give me a quick lesson in ruffles. Stay tuned.....
