We took the girls to see Disney on Ice with our friends The Neal's!
The girls dressed up as princesses to enjoy the show.....as were most of the little girls in attendance.
The show was in French, but it didn't make much of a difference. It was really well done, and the girls enjoyed the show. Matt and I were surprised to enjoy it, too.
A few shots from the different 'acts':

Disney Land Paris!
Sunday morning we awoke to howling winds and driving rain! Sounds like a winning combination for a fun filled day at Disney, don't you think!? Literally, we were sitting at breakfast and watched the umbrellas on the terrace fly by.
As that was the case, I decided to NOT bring my nice camera to Disney. So guess what.....after we pulled through this magical sign in the rain....
....the sun burst through the clouds, and it turned out to be an almost perfect day at Sleeping Beauty's castle!
It figures! But oh well!!
This was our first time to Disney with kids, and it is such a different experience. We spent a lot of time in Fantasy Land. A lot. And we had to take turns riding rides, especially ones Audrey could not ride or was sleeping during..... Also, Disney was a gazillion times more crowded then Disney Studios was. Lines were so long.
Grace really enjoyed the rides. I don't think there was much apprehension with any of them. She seemed to really like Pirates of the Caribbean. But I think the highlight of the day/trip was seeing Rapunzel. She got to see her twice. Once she walked right by us. She was on her way into the Princess Pavilion, and we were standing outside trying to decide if it was worth waiting in line for 60+ minutes or not. And there she was. I think Matt and I were more excited to see her then anyone! She was with her 'handler' so she wouldn't/couldn't stop. But she waved at Grace, and she was so excited. We decided not to go in, banking on that by the time we got through the line, she wouldn't be there anymore given union/labor laws and breaks, and such. :) But honestly, at this age....I think Grace was A-OK with just seeing her. Later, we also got to see her during the parade. We camped out and got front row seats right where the parade started. The girls put on their Snow White dresses for the occasion.
The parade was a special new parade to celebrate the 20th anniversary of DisneyLand Paris. And almost all of the Princesses were there. When Snow White saw the girls, she waved and blew them kisses.....
And then we saw Rapunzel and Eugene on the float. I think this is what Grace refers to as the best part of her whole trip!
The parade was really good. All EIGHT minutes of it. The girls loved it. They were in such good moods afterwards, we headed over to Frontier Land for a Mexican dinner. These two led the way!

We had a good time. We might go again before we leave Europe when Audrey (& India - hint, hint!) are older to enjoy it, too.

Disney Studios, Paris
Last weekend we went to Disney in Paris! Well....right outside of Paris.... We went with our friends the Neals - Ryan, Amanda, Reese and Brooklyn. Reese and Brooklyn are almost the same age as Grace and Audrey, and Ryan works at UPS with Matt.
We got up bright and early and hit the road a little after 7:30am Saturday morning. It's roughly 3 hours from here. The weather forecast was not looking so hot, so we decided to start our adventure at Disney Studios, where there was more inside type activities to do.
I don't remember ever doing Disney Studios in Orlando, but the girls had a great time and there was plenty to do. We did the Aladdin Magic Carpet ride, saw Mickey at his Clubhouse, saw a Lilo & Stitch show, a stunt show with Cars, including Lightning McQueen, rode the Slinky Dog (Toy Story) roller coaster and the parade, where many of the Princesses were!!! The weather was the pits, but I don't think it bothered the bigger girls one bit.
The little ones did ok, too. Chillin in their strollers, being self sufficient self feeders....
