It's officially after Memorial Day, so Grace can wear white. And wear white she did. And managed to wear it all day long without spitting up all over it. I don't know if it's because she's getting older and the muscle that causes her to spit up is finally stronger or the addition of a daily dose of cereal, but the spit up has started to become less and less. Last week she came home 4 out of the 5 days from school in the outfit she went to school in. And the one day she didn't wasn't spit up related. Big improvement.

And we finally busted out the high chair and Grace will be dining with us now. Doesn't she look so tiny in her chair! Room to grow, I guess.
We've moved on to Oatmeal, in the cereal rotation. And this week we're sending the box of rice cereal to school for a morning snack - so moving up to two solid feedings a day. And I've promised her peas for her 5 month birthday - isn't she lucky?
And we've been dealing with a cold or allergies or both this weekend. Or maybe teething. She's very congested, so we have her mattress elevated which is causing her to roll down the hill around 2am. Any volunteers to come rescue her? She won't/can't stop rubbing her eyes. They are red, swollen, and teary. And she has been a little more fuss-tastic then usual. Poor girl. And when we put our fingers in her mouth to rub her gums, she isn't trying to suck, but rather enjoys having her gums massaged. So who knows. We might have tooth news soon.
And finally, how can you not love the face that blows bubbles at you when you ask her to smile? Guess that's my own fault!

Great update... Can't believe all that she has accomplished!
So much happening to Miss Grace! I hope her eyes/cold/allergies get better soon! She's so beautiful and getting so big!
