Groot Bijgaarden

It's that time of year again!  Tulip time!!  I absolutely love all of the flowers blooming around us.  We're all sneezing a lot, but it's so gorgeous.

Spring is so early this year.  Sorry mid-westerners, southerners, and northeasterners that you've suffered through such a horrible winter.  But we can't even count a day of snow this past winter!  Which is wonderful since last year was so horrible.

We decided to head to Chateau de Grand Bijard or Groot-Bijgaarden on Opening weekend this year since Spring has been so early, and we wouldn't have another chance to go until closing weekend, and everything might be completely spent by then.

I would have to say that it was still a tad too early....  but waiting till our next free weekend would have been a bust, too.
