Playing tourist - Part 1

It was a holiday in Belgium today, so we decided to play tourist. It was a beautiful day to be outside.

During the summer, the Palace is open for free. We drove down; about 15-20 minute drive from our house.


This was my favorite room. The green ceiling and chandelier is from the iridescent wings of the Japanese beetle. Isn't that so cool?


And they had a little children's area where the kids could build things. Here is our little Bob the Builder:
